Indie music artists Emma Jean Oakley (EJO) and Emily June (EJ) are headed on a mini-tour across the Carolinas. I created four tour poster variations—a primary poster advertising all dates and accompanying acts, and three separate designs with more info on each show.

Both folk-inspired indie artists, EJO and EJ wanted a visual direction that aligned with their mildly western, campfire-esq vision for this tour. Borrowing from EJO’s grunge cowboy, orange-forward brand, I pulled in a softer serif font to accompany the textured heading font, blending the artists’ individual styles with their shared aesthetic for this tour. Each poster has an original 11x17 file for print with a matching Instagram-optimized ratio for socials.

Only thing better than the posters is the music at the shows they’re advertsing.
